Roles & Permissions
Beyond the base role assigned to each member, DURUM.ai allows configuring granular permissions per user. An administrator or account manager can enable or disable specific features for each person.
Base Roles
Each user has a base role that defines their default access level. See the Team Management page for the complete list of roles and their standard permissions.
Granular Permissions
On top of the base role, specific permissions can be toggled individually. This allows precise customization of what each user can see and do.
Available Permissions
| Permission | What It Controls |
|---|---|
| dashboard | Access to the main dashboard |

Dashboard-Specific Permissions
| Permission | What It Controls |
|---|---|
| tab_ceo | CEO View tab |
| tab_marketing | Marketing tab |
| tab_sales_reps | Sales Reps tab |
| tab_sales | Sales tab |
| tab_finance | Finance tab |
| tab_my_board | My Board tab |
Fine-Tuning Access
You can give a user access to the dashboard but restrict which tabs they see. For example, a rep might have access to the Sales Reps tab only, while a media buyer sees Marketing and CEO View but not Finance.
How to Modify Permissions
Permission management is handled by administrators or your account manager. To request permission changes:
- Contact your account manager
- Specify which user and which permissions to change
- Changes take effect immediately
Permission Priority
Granular permissions override the base role. If a user has the "Client" role but is granted the ai_insights permission, they'll be able to access the Insight DURUM page even though it's not normally part of the Client role.
