Google Calendar & Microsoft Outlook
What It Does
The calendar connection allows DURUM.ai to:
- Automatically track scheduled appointments
- Detect attendance and no-shows
- Feed the Calendar tab on the Sales Reps page
- Trigger call recording (if enabled)
Step-by-Step Configuration
- Log in to DURUM.ai
- Go to Profile (in the sidebar)
- Scroll down to the Calendar Integrations section
- Click Connect Google Calendar (or Connect Microsoft Outlook, depending on your case)
- An OAuth window opens -- log in to your Google (or Microsoft) account
- Authorize access by clicking Allow
- The window closes automatically
- The status in DURUM.ai changes to Connected
What You Need to Know
- Each sales rep must connect their own calendar individually
- The connection is personal -- a director cannot connect their reps' calendars
- If you change your Google/Microsoft account password, you may need to reconnect the calendar
How to Test
- After connecting, create a test appointment in your calendar
- Wait a few minutes (sync happens every 15 minutes)
- In DURUM.ai, go to the Sales Reps page to verify the appointment appears
Google Calendar / Outlook Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| OAuth window doesn't open | Disable your browser's popup blocker for app.durum.ai |
| Status stays "Not connected" | Try disconnecting then reconnecting. Make sure you authorized all requested permissions. |
| Appointments don't appear | Wait 15 minutes (sync cycle). If it persists, disconnect and reconnect the calendar. |
Important for Directors
Make sure each sales rep on your team connects their calendar. Without this connection, meetings won't be tracked automatically and attendance/no-show analytics won't be available for that rep.
