Light & Dark Theme
DURUM.ai supports two display modes to adapt to your visual preferences and work environment.
The Two Modes

| Light | Warm cream background (#FBF8F3), dark text | Presentations, bright environments, screen sharing |
How to Switch
- Find the theme icon in the sidebar, located at the bottom of the menu.
- Click the icon to toggle between dark and light mode.
- The change applies immediately to the entire interface.
Your preference is saved automatically. On your next login, DURUM.ai will display the last selected mode without any reconfiguration needed.
Visual Element Adaptation
When you change modes, all interface elements adapt automatically:
- Charts: colors, axes, and legends adjust to remain readable in the chosen mode.
- Tables: borders, row alternation, and highlights follow the active theme.
- KPI Cards: backgrounds and contrasts change to ensure readability.
- Navigation: the sidebar and top bar adapt to the selected mode.
Recommended Mode by Context
- Daily use: dark mode reduces eye strain during extended sessions.
- Presentations: switch to light mode before sharing your screen or projecting your dashboards. The light background offers better contrast on projectors and external displays.
